Queen of Armenian. Koor White is pure Voskehat – it is an indigenous grape, grown and cultivated in Armenia for millennia. Indigenous variety known as the subtle mineralic notes come from the unique soil of the region. The signature and subtle mineralic notes come from the unique soil of the region – a combination of volcanic sedimentary and limestone. The wine is clear with no trace of sediment and the taste is fresh with tropical fruit complemented by touch of flint. Perfect pairing with mussels, scallops, oysters and other shellfish. Koor White can be enjoyed on its own or paired wonderfully with most cheese platters, appetisers, seafoods and fruit or vanilla-based light desserts.

Koor White is pure Voskehat – it is an indigenous grape, grown and cultivated in Armenia for millennia. This variety is vintage driven and can bring a wide array of aromatic bouquets depending on the year. The wine is clear with no trace of sediment. It is white in colour with a slight golden tint. The taste is fresh with hints of tropical fruit.

 

Winery Highland Cellars was founded by a group of friends – people from Armenia, who were conquered by the beauty and scenery of Mount Ararat at its foot. Its wine by exclusively from indigenous grape varieties have absorbed the centuries-old tradition of production of Armenian wine and love of their creators to the ancient land. The winery produces wines under the brand name “Koor”, the production of which combines the ancient secrets and the latest winemaking technology. Highland Sellez hopes to make a worthy contribution to the recognition of Armenia as an ancient wine-making country. To achieve this goal, the winery collaborates with vineyards belonging to the Union of Armenian Manufacturers of wine.

 

Cold decantation of the must for 24 hours, low-temperature fermentation at 14°-16°С. The wine reveals bright tropical notes with hints of pineapple and mango.
